Bushmills Original is an Irish blend at 40% ABV, in a 1 litre bottle. It pairs a high proportion of triple-distilled single malt with a light grain whiskey, and was matured in American oak casks. The colour is a pale straw gold.
The nose is floral, with fresh grass, crème brûlée, green apple and ripe pear, over a faint touch of vanilla. The palate opens with honeyed sweetness and moves to the warmth of fresh pastry.
