Bushmills Original is a blended Irish whiskey, bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof) in a 75cl bottle. It combines triple-distilled single malt with a lighter, aromatic grain whiskey.
The whiskey is aged for at least three years in Kentucky bourbon barrels and Spanish Oloroso sherry casks. It comes from what is described as Ireland's oldest whiskey distillery, and the recipe has stayed unchanged since the 1800s.
