Bushmills Original is a blended Irish whiskey from the Bushmills Distillery in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, in a 37.5cl bottle. It combines triple-distilled single malt with lighter grain whiskey.
The whiskey is matured for at least three years in Kentucky bourbon barrels and Spanish Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose is light and fruity, with delicate spice, soft vanilla and a little honeyed sweetness. The palate is gently warming, with honey, vanilla, light fruit and a soft grain character. The finish is crisp, with lingering sweetness and a touch of spice.
