Cadenhead Laphroaig 10 Year Old 2015 Bourbon Barrel (46%)

This is a 10 year old Laphroaig bottled by Cadenhead at 46% ABV. It was distilled in 2015 and matured for ten years in bourbon barrels. It belongs to Cadenhead's Original Collection, where each bottling is a vatting of no more than a handful of casks, chosen to show the bottler's own reading of the distillery's character. The nose is of hemp, gooseberry and menthol. On the palate come lime oil, grilled langoustines and Bramley apple, and the finish is salty with lemon and eucalyptus.
