Cadenhead's Ben Nevis 2012 11 Year Old Original Collection (70cl, 46%)

This is an 11 year old Ben Nevis from Cadenhead's Original Collection, distilled in 2012 and bottled in September 2024 at 46%. It matured in bourbon casks and is non-chill-filtered, with no added colouring. It comes in a 70cl bottle. The Original Collection vermarries whiskies from a few chosen casks and selects them for how they show at 46%. Ben Nevis is made at the foot of the mountain near Fort William. The nose brings apple strudel and icing sugar with grassy notes, white grapes and cinnamon. The palate is creamy and malty, with wholegrain cereal and gooseberries. The finish is mineral and sweet, with kiwi skin, flint, salted caramel and barley sugar.
