This is a 25 year old blended Scotch whisky from Cadenhead's Enigma series, in which the composition is not disclosed. It was distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2023 at 41.4% ABV, in a run of 5850 bottles.
The whisky matured entirely in refill sherry butts. It is bottled at natural colour without chill filtration.
The nose offers soft sherry, dried fruit, vanilla, light chocolate, plums and spicy oak. The palate is smooth and rounded, with raisins, toffee, malt, caramel and light spice. The finish is medium-long and warm, with light sherry sweetness, oak, cocoa and soft spices.
