This is a 14 year old Highland single malt from Cadenhead's Enigma series, in which the distillery is not named. It was bottled on 23 January 2024 at 53.9% ABV, in a run of 1986 bottles.
The whisky matured in a combination of refill sherry and refill bourbon barrels. It is bottled at natural colour and without chill filtration.
The nose combines light sherry notes with dried fruit, vanilla, oak and soft spices, with hints of honey, apple and a floral edge. On the palate come honey, apple, citrus, light chocolate and spicy oak, with a gentle bourbon sweetness. The finish is medium-long, fruity and spicy.
