Caffo Grappa Italiana (70cl)

A grappa from the Caffo family distillery in Limbadi, Calabria, where distilling has gone on since 1894. It is made from grape pomace, left unaged or only lightly rested, and is the entry-level expression in the Caffo grappa range. It comes in a 70cl bottle. Clear and spirit-forward, it keeps the raw character of the pomace. The nose is fresh grape pomace with floral notes and a light spirit lift. The palate is clean and direct, with grape skin, light fruit and a warming spirit, and the finish is short and clean.
