Mavericks Doublewood is a small batch American whiskey from CALI Distillery, a high rye bourbon named after the well-known surf break in California.
It begins in charred new American oak barrels and is finished in toasted French oak, so two varieties of oak shape it.
The aromas are described as rich with coffee, caramel and cocoa.
