Riptide is a small batch, cask strength rye whiskey from CALI Distillery, bottled at 118 proof. The mash is 95% rye, with just enough malted barley to drive fermentation.
It has an amber colour and an earthy overtone. In the glass, rich butterscotch notes from the oak sit alongside the underlying spice of the rye.
