Callington Mill Anniversary is a seven-year-old single malt from the Callington Mill Distillery in Tasmania, Australia. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtration or added colour. This edition marks the distillery's seventh anniversary. The whisky is made from local barley and mountain water, then matured in casks from Spain and Portugal, among them first-fill sherry casks and casks that held Palo Cortado and Pedro Ximénez. The nose offers dried apricots and plums with cinnamon and a note of almond. The palate is oily and spicy, with walnut and green almond over tart stone fruit. The finish is long and drying, with oak and a touch of dried fruit.
