Callington Mill – Cognac Cask Rare Single Cask Tasmanian Single Malt (66.4%)

This is a single cask Tasmanian single malt from the Callington Mill Distillery in Oatlands, bottled at a cask strength of 66.4%. The whisky matured in a Cognac cask made from French Limousin oak, and 996 bottles were filled. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring, so the colour comes from the cask alone. The Cognac cask brings stone fruit, creamy vanilla and fine spice, and the high strength is balanced by a smooth, rounded character.
