Enigma is a Tasmanian single malt from Callington Mill, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
It was aged in ex-sherry oak casks from Jerez de la Frontera in Spain and ex-Port oak casks from the Douro Valley in Portugal.
The nose offers burnt orange, caramel, nutmeg, dried figs and marzipan. The palate is soft, with raisins, sultanas, tropical fruit and strawberry, ending in a gentle peppery bitterness. The finish is light, with burnt orange and soft spice giving way to dry wood.
