Callington Mill Festive Cask (70cl, 46%)

Callington Mill Festive Cask is a Tasmanian single malt from the Callington Mill Distillery in Oatlands, bottled at 46% without chill filtration or added colour. The spirit spent three years in first-fill American oak, then was finished in ex-bourbon barrels that had previously held the distillery's own Festive Spirit. The distillery works with locally malted barley and water from the Blackman River. The nose is generous and savoury, with plenty of spice. On the palate come dark chocolate and roasted espresso.
