Callington Mill Fusion is a Tasmanian single malt aged in ex-fortified wine casks from Spain and Portugal. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose combines banoffee pie, Chinese five spice, dark rum and raisin chocolate, with sweet almond, dried cherry, blackcurrant and a sweet oak influence.
The palate opens with earthy, gamey tones, then sweet dark cacao, coffee and cigar notes, with layers of oak, dark fruit and spiced tea cake. The finish is long and smooth, with banana, blackberry, spice and toasted oak.
