Quagmire is a peated Tasmanian single malt from Callington Mill Distillery in Oatlands, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The distillery uses locally malted barley and water from the Blackman River, and the whisky is bottled without chill-filtration or added colour.
The nose has peat smoke like a warming campfire, with soft butterscotch, sweet vanilla, dark chocolate and a touch of leather. The palate is oily and buttery, with intense caramel and toffee.
