Callington Mill – Seven Year Anniversary (2026) Tasmanian Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 46%)

This is the seventh anniversary release from Callington Mill, a limited-edition Tasmanian single malt in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. It was matured in ex-American and European oak, with first-fill Pedro Ximenez and Cream Sherry casks adding richness, then finished for two years in Palo Cortado casks. The nose opens with dried apricots and prunes, old oak and fruit-cake spice, and a touch of freshly cracked almond. The palate is oily and weighty, with green oak, walnuts, green almond and unripe stone fruit. The finish is oily and gently drying, of medium length, with nutty oak.
