This is an eight-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 45% ABV in a 75cl bottle. Each very small batch, of fewer than 50 barrels, is drawn from hand-selected barrels distilled and aged in Kentucky. The mash bill is 74% corn, 18% rye and 8% malted barley.
The colour is deep amber with golden highlights. The nose is full and rich, with aged oak over deep vanilla. Vanilla and fruit come first on the palate, followed by soft white pepper and a full woody taste. The finish is balanced and sweet, with a subtle caramel that fades warmly.
