Cameron's QX is a blended Scotch whisky with an unusually mineral, industrial character.
The nose is restrained and dry, with mineral notes and hints of sulphur and metal. Tasters pick out sparklers, welding spray, whetstone, lemon zest, herbs and crumb.
The palate is dense and saturated, carrying on the mineral and metallic theme with syrupy sweetness, metallic acidity and an oily texture. The finish is spicy and warming, with notes of textiles, a little rubber, metal chips and sweet herbal shades.
