Campbeltown Loch Blended Malt (70cl, 46%)

Campbeltown Loch is a blended malt made and bottled by Springbank Distillers, at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. The blend is made entirely of Campbeltown single malts: Springbank, Longrow, Hazelburn, Kilkerran and Glen Scotia, with no grain whisky. It was created in honour of the town's past as a whisky centre, and it is matured in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. The name comes from the bay at the heart of the town. The nose is soft and sweet, with fruit, honey and butterscotch. The palate is layered, with sea salt and spice. The finish brings gentle peat smoke, long and balanced.
