Longrow Peated Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Longrow Peated is a heavily peated Campbeltown single malt bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is distilled at Springbank Distillery, where floor-malting, distillation, maturation and bottling all take place on site. Longrow is the distillery's peated line, first distilled in 1973 and named after a long-closed neighbouring Campbeltown distillery. This bottling matures in a mix of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks and is non-chill-filtered, with natural colour. The nose combines peat smoke and sea air with sherry-soaked fruit and vanilla. The palate is oily and full, with bonfire smoke, dark honey, citrus peel and a briny edge. The finish is long and smoky, with lingering malt sweetness.
