Canadian Rockies 28 Year Old is a Canadian whisky matured for 28 years and bottled at 46% ABV, in a 75cl bottle.
The long maturation gives it a layered character, with mature oak and a soft rye spice sitting alongside the sweetness of corn, caramel and vanilla.
The nose leads with caramel and vanilla, then sweet corn, oak, cinnamon and orange peel. On the palate there is rich caramel and vanilla with seasoned oak, citrus and cinnamon. The finish is long, with vanilla, caramel, orange peel and a gentle pepper warmth.
