A red wine from Meloni, Cannonau di Sardegna DOC, with an intense ruby colour. The nose offers ripe red fruit, Mediterranean scrub and spicy notes, with blackberry, cherry, herbal hints, light pepper and tobacco. On the palate it shows good structure, present but well-integrated tannins and a persistence that allows versatile pairings. It suits red meats, light game, aged cheeses and grilled dishes, as well as Mediterranean dishes with savoury sauces. Serve at 16-18°C and open briefly before drinking.
