Caol Ila 12 Year Old is an Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle. Its colour is pale straw and the body is light to medium.
The nose is subdued and citrusy, with little smoke. On the palate peat smoke comes first, followed by smoked olives, seaweed, salt and pepper over toffee and vanilla fudge. The finish holds sweet smoke and ends slightly acrid.
