Caol Ila 12 Year Old is an Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle. It is pale straw in colour, with a smooth, light to medium body.
The nose is crisp and citrusy, with very little smoke. On the palate a sweet start of toffee and vanilla fudge is joined by light, fragrant peat smoke, smoked olives, salt and pepper. The finish is long and sweet and smoky, ending slightly acrid.
