This is Caol Ila 15 Year Old in the unpeated style, issued as part of the Diageo Special Releases in 2016. It is an Islay single malt at a natural cask strength of 61.5%, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in a mix of American and European oak, which adds richness to Caol Ila's nutty unpeated spirit. A hint of smoke still runs through it.
