This is a 14-year-old Islay single malt from Caol Ila, distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2021 at 52.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was finished in first-fill Oloroso casks, numbers 302331 and 302333.
The nose is winey, with peat smoke, salty sea air, spices, nuts and a light fruitiness. On the palate come peat smoke, tar, wet earth and leather, with light but clear sherry notes. The finish balances smokiness against sherry influence.
