This is an Islay single malt from Caol Ila, distilled in 2007 and bottled at 8 years old by Dong Fang Ming. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 52.9% ABV.
The whisky was matured in a bourbon cask.
On the nose there is lemon, smoke, creamy apple and toasted bread, with sweet peat and pepper. The palate brings lemon, peat, peach, salt and orange before vanilla and liquorice arrive. The finish is medium, smoky and spiced.
