This is a single cask Caol Ila from Islay, distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2023 after nine years in a first fill bourbon barrel. It is bottled at a cask strength of 59.9% in a 70cl bottle, and it is the closing release in a series called The Seasons.
The character is fresh and lightly smoky, with grilled asparagus, padron peppers and freshly cut grass alongside a refined smokiness, then cloudy apple juice and mezcal Margarita notes that suggest a sunny day in early spring.
