This is a nine-year-old Caol Ila from Islay, distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2025 by Signatory Vintage at 58.4% ABV. It is finished in a second-fill Chardonnay cask and comes in a 70cl bottle.
The distillery's maritime, smoky style, with ashy peat smoke, is given a new reading by the Chardonnay finish. The wine cask brings light fruit, freshness and a slightly winey note, set against the strong smoke.
It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
