Caol Ila 25 Year Old is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky, matured in a mix of ex-bourbon and sherry casks.
The nose combines dried fruits, honey, a maritime note, smoke and herbal undertones. The palate is full-bodied, with dark chocolate, toffee and ripe fruits alongside gentle peat smoke and spice.
The finish is long, with lingering sweetness and a subtle smokiness.
