This is an eight-year-old Caol Ila from Islay, released as Parcel No. 9 in The Single Malts of Scotland series from the independent bottler Elixir Distillers. Parcels are small batches that always combine at least two casks. This one was vatted from six casks chosen by the bottler's head blender.
The whisky was distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2022 at 48% ABV.
