This is a nine-year-old Islay single malt from Caol Ila, bottled by Signatory Vintage at 58.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled on 6th June 2016 and bottled on 8th September 2025.
The whisky was finished in a second fill Chardonnay butt, and this is part of cask no. 4, which gave 380 bottles. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered.
The nose combines soft smoke with sweet orange, apricot and light floral notes. On the palate it is full-bodied, with pale grapes, fresh lemon and sweet peach, and peat smoke that stays in the background. The finish is long and balanced, with smoke, citrus, cream toffee and gentle oak spice.
