Caravedo Pisco Quebranta (75cl, 40%)

Caravedo Quebranta is a Peruvian pisco made from 100% quebranta grapes and bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle. It comes from Destilería La Caravedo in the Ica Valley, established in 1684. The spirit is single distilled in copper pot stills from fully fermented quebranta grape wine, with no pomace and no additives. It rests for at least six months before bottling. The nose is ripe pear and green apple, with earthy, grassy tones, almond and a little banana. The palate brings coconut, orchard fruit, vanilla and quince. The finish is medium, with clove and cinnamon, a touch of butterscotch and a dry close.
