Cardhu 16 Year Old is a single malt from the 2022 Special Releases, bottled at 58% in a 70cl bottle. That year's collection took its inspiration from the mythical creatures of Scotland.
This release was finished in Jamaican rum casks, which give it tropical, exotic notes.
It is described as light-footed, rich and sweet, yet lively and fresh. The finish is surprisingly spicy and peppery.
