Cardhu 16 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Diageo Special Releases 2022, bottled at 58% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The release carries the story 'The Hidden Paradise of Black Rock', part of the 'Psychedelic Legends Untold' theme.
The whisky was matured in refill and re-charred American oak, then finished in casks that had been seasoned with Jamaican pot still rum.
It is described as light on its feet, lush and sweet, yet lively and fresh, with a spicy, peppery finish.
