Full Flight is a seven-year-old New Zealand single malt from Cardrona, the final expression in The Cardrona Single Malt Whisky coming of age. It is bottled at natural cask strength, 62.8%, in a 35cl bottle.
The whisky is a marriage of specially selected ex-Oloroso sherry butts and ex-bourbon barrels, and is rich in style. Water opens it up.
Dark fruits come through on the nose, with sticky treacle in the mouth.
