Caroni 1982/2005 23 Year Old (70cl, 77.3%)

A heavy Trinidad rum from the Caroni distillery, distilled in 1982 from molasses and matured for 23 years before bottling in 2005. It is a single cask release of 396 bottles at 77.3% ABV. The nose is described with glue, barrel, vanilla, chocolate and allspice, while the palate brings bicycle tube, vanilla, chocolate, rubber, tar, wood and pastry, with subtle leather and bitter chocolate nuances. It comes in a 700 ml bottle.
