Caroni Heavy Trinidad Rum is a 25-year-old rum distilled in 2000 and bottled in 2025. It matured for 18 years under the tropical sun of Trinidad, then spent a further seven years in glass containers. The intense climate concentrated the spirit through strong evaporation.
Bottled at 50.6% vol, it shows oriental and sweet notes with citrus accents and spicy nuances. The long finish carries ripe fruit aromas and elegant spice notes. Only 300 bottles were filled for Whisky Live Paris 2025. The bottle and packaging design honours the industrial heritage of the Caroni distillery with a dark look and historic black-and-white photographs.
