Casey Jones Total Eclipse Four Grain Kentucky Straight Bourbon (50%)

Casey Jones Total Eclipse is a four-grain Kentucky straight bourbon made in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, and bottled at 50% (100 proof). It was launched in February 2024 as the official bourbon of the 2024 total solar eclipse. It uses the distillery's Mash Bill #4 of 75% yellow dent corn, 10% wheat, 10% rye and 5% malted barley. It is distilled in small batches in a square copper pot still and aged for a minimum of two to four years. The nose is perfumed, with baking spices, butterscotch, graham crackers, green pepper and persimmon. The palate is creamy, with cherry, orange zest, dried tropical fruit, pecans and Szechuan peppercorn. The finish carries buttered kettle corn, toasted nuts and oak tannins.
