This is a 15-year-old single malt made on Orkney, the archipelago off the north of Scotland. It is bottled without chill filtration.
The nose is soft, with heather honey, vanilla, apple and pear, a little cinnamon and a faint maritime hint. The palate is round and silky, with ripe fruit, caramel, toasted hazelnuts and a touch of delicate smoke.
The finish is long and warm, with the fruit and spice returning.
