Catto's Rare Old De Luxe Scotch Whisky (43%)

Catto's Rare Old De Luxe is a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 43% and made by Inver House Distillers. The blend combines unpeated Highland and Speyside malts with Lowland grain whisky. The colour is golden honey. The nose is fragrant and bright, with fresh citrus, vanilla and honey, then almond butter, apple compote, light chocolate and a little oak spice. The palate is well-rounded, with caramel, vanilla, black tea, cocoa, baked apple and pear, and a creamy texture. The finish is medium to long, creamy and sweet, with caramel, vanilla, oak spice and citrus peel.
