Heiz Ledenez Gouez is a French whisky from Celtic Whisky Distillerie, matured in Bourbon casks and bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Direct fire stills give the nose a toasty edge, with poached pear developing alongside almond biscotti, sponge cake and straw. It is soft on entry, with a grassy edge through the middle. The finish is creamy, toasty and delicately salty, with white pepper and vanilla lingering in the aftertaste. It is described as a cereal and coastal style.
