Ceretto Moscato d'Asti 2024 (75cl, 5.5%)

This is a sweet, lightly sparkling white wine from Ceretto, made from Moscato Bianco in the Moscato d'Asti DOCG in Piedmont. The 2024 vintage is 5.5% in a 75cl bottle. The vineyards cover 42 hectares at 300 to 400 metres, on soils rich in clay, sand and silt. The grapes are picked by hand and fermented in stainless steel autoclave, a method chosen to keep the fruit and the natural aroma of the grape. On the nose it shows fresh peach, apricot and a touch of acacia blossom. The palate is sweet but balanced by lively acidity, with fine bubbles giving a light texture.
