César Florido Moscatel Dorado

Moscatel Dorado is a sweet-style sherry from César Florido, who still handles every stage himself, from vineyard work to bottling. The grapes are treated with natural yeasts, and the wine matures in three bodegas in Chipiona, a short distance from the Atlantic. It is made from overripe Muscat of Alexandria grapes. Amber in colour, it is broad and rich on the nose, with apricot, orange blossom, jasmine, bergamot, honey, toasted nuts and white pepper. The sweeter notes sit in balance with freshness on the palate, which is dense and rounded.
