This is a 4 year old Chita, a Japanese grain whisky distilled at Suntory's Chita distillery in July 2011. The Scotch Malt Whisky Society bottled it in 2014 as G13.1. It matured for just over four years in a large virgin oak puncheon and was bottled at natural cask strength, non-chill-filtered and with natural colour. Only 622 individually numbered bottles were released. It is described as a silky grain whisky with coconut cream, sweet spice and bright citrus zest.
