A 1.75 litre bottle of Chivas Regal 12 Year Old, a blended Scotch thought to have been bottled in the 1980s for the duty free market. It is pale gold in colour. The nose is herbal and mineral with some smoke, bone marrow, bread and barley, then leather, tobacco, overripe apples and honey. On the palate come oranges, cider apples, dried pears, honey and brioche, with a little cough syrup and smoke, and a full, creamy texture. The finish is long and honeyed, fruity and liqueur-like.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
