Chivas Regal 12 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 40% ABV. It is bright gold with amber highlights, and is described as a honeyed, orchard-fruit blend with creamy malt and a gentle thread of smoke.
The nose brings honey, vanilla and soft toffee, with apple, pear and apricot, heather and a touch of citrus. The palate is creamy and sweet, with butterscotch, vanilla fudge and gentle spice. The finish is of medium length, with vanilla, sweet malt and light oak, and a last hint of smoke.
