Chivas Regal 25 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky made from malt and grain whiskies, all aged for at least 25 years. It revives the elegance of the original 1909 release, and Strathisla is often cited as the heart malt of the blend.
The nose offers sweet orange and peach, marzipan and nuts, with hints of berries and liquorice. On the palate there is chocolate orange, fondant, toffee, aniseed, boiled sweets and custard. The finish is smooth and rounded with a long tail, carrying butterscotch and earthy tones.
