Chivas Regal Gold Signature 18 Year Old (40%)

A blended Scotch whisky from Chivas Regal, aged 18 years and bottled at 40% ABV. Its malt core is led by Strathisla, and the whisky is a deep amber with copper highlights. The nose offers dark chocolate, cocoa and toffee alongside raisin, sultana, apricot, orange peel, marmalade, soft spice, polished oak, leather, heather honey, rose petals and a whisper of smoke. On the palate there is dark caramel and chocolate, plum and spiced orange, walnut and roasted almond, gentle sherry sweetness, cinnamon, nutmeg and soft pepper, with a subtle smoky thread. The finish is long and warming, with chocolate, dried fruit, oak and a last echo of sweet smoke and orange spice.
